For many reasons, Francisco Tarrega can be described as the father of modern guitar, thanks to his great technical and didactic contribution. In addition to the famous guitar tunes written by Tarrega, such as the beautiful “Recuerdos de la Alhambra“, his Guitar Studies are also well studied, among which is this Study in E minor. This is a song that is very similar to “Romance” called “Forbidden Games”, perhaps for this reason it is very played, but it’s also certainly a nice song, not difficult to practice the arpeggio technique.
If you enjoy emotional sounds of the music in E minor minor, let me also recommend my version of the sweet “Pavane” by Fauré for classical guitar and orchestra. Good Listening.
