Moonlight Sonata:
classical guitar version (Beethoven)

Moolight Sonata, Classical Guitar Version
Moonlight Sonata: Title page of the first edition of the score, published in 1802 in Vienna.

Moonlight Sonata is the name given in the Romantic period to the Sonata no. 14 in C-sharp minor by Ludwig van Beethoven, dedicated to his student Giulietta Guicciardi. In particular, it is well known the first movement of the Sonata, changes in the quiet but firm, which has been compared to the night landscape dominated by the Moon. It ‘a piece for piano, but it is very exciting also played with the classical guitar. In particular, I propose three versions: Eric Henderson, one of Michael Lucarelli and one published by the Los Angeles Guitar Academy.
