The famous “Funeral March” is the third movement of the Piano Sonata n. 2 by Chopin. This music was often used by bands for funeral processions of people more or less known and in movies, from which his great celebrity. The funereal effect is due to the performance of slow and relentless march with chords and melody at the same time. Interesting contrast with the central part, a melody that is accompanied by an arpeggio in a major key. The classical guitar transcription seems to me that is able to produce the feelings of yearning of Chopin’s music.
