White Christmas is the biggest selling single in history, and certainly a very nice Christmas song. It was composed by Irving Berlin and the first known version was recorded by Bing Crosby in 1942. The morning after writing the song, Berlin ran to his office and said to his secretary: “Take the pen, take notes on this song. I have just written my best song. ” The chromatic melody of White Christmas makes it a very interesting music even on classical guitar, as you can hear interpreted in various versions in the following video and guitar tab and scores.
If you like Christmas songs played with classical guitar I also recommend a personal version of Jingle Bells. Thank you.
