Classical Guitar Common Mistakes

classical guitar mistakePlaying classical guitar requires good technique, as it is an instrument that does not pardon any imperfections. In particular there are some mistakes that should be avoided. Here’s a video that explains the five mistakes to avoid when you play the classical guitar:

-Poor alignment: Playing with inefficient or potentially harmful angles in the wrists.
-Bracing: Touching the top of the guitar with the right hand pinky or ring and pinky.
-Splayed fingers: Right hand fingers are widely separated from each other
-Bouncing: Pulling the fingers and hand away from the strings on every note.
-Bicycling: Hooking the strings with the right hand fingers, snagging the strings (extremely common)
